Green Lantern Pizza was born in 1980 when founder Robert Callahan opened a small, humble pizzeria on Isaacs Avenue in Walla Walla, Washington. Armed with a family recipe passed down from his Italian grandmother and a deep love for his community, Robert set out to make pizza that felt like home.

Over four decades later, that same philosophy guides every pizza we craft. We stone-mill our own flour blend, hand-stretch every crust, and source toppings from local Pacific Northwest farms whenever the season allows. The Doors Open
Robert Callahan opens Green Lantern Pizza at 1606 E Isaacs Ave with a single wood-fired oven, three tables, and a family recipe that would change Walla Walla forever.
First Expansion
Demand grows so fast that Robert doubles the dining room and adds a second oven. Green Lantern Pizza wins its first "Best Pizza in Walla Walla" award from the local paper.
Delivery Begins
We launch our first delivery service, bringing hand-crafted green lantern pizza directly to homes across Walla Walla. The phone rings off the hook from day one.
Second Generation Takes Over
Robert's daughter Maria joins the leadership team, bringing modern menu innovation while preserving the original recipes. New specialty pizzas and a craft salad menu debut.
Catering & Events Launch
Green Lantern Pizza expands into catering services, becoming the go-to pizza provider for weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings across the Walla Walla Valley.
Online Ordering & Refresh
We launch our online ordering platform and refresh the restaurant's interior with a modern look — but the pizzas, and the warmth, remain exactly the same.
